Textured Soy Protein

OBJECTIVE:

Texturized Soy Protein is a defatted soybean soy flour and is used to substitute meat in the formulation of industrialized products such as beef meat, pork meat, poultry and fish. Textured Soy Protein is obtained through a thermoplastic extrusion of defatted soy flour where high temperature and pressure inactivates the non-nutritional factors originally present in the soybean rain.  Some of the functional properties of Textured Soy Protein include low fat content, easy handling, texture similar to cooked meat and microbiological contamination-free.
